Elves are mostly known for their natural beauty. Their biggest strengths are agility and accuracy. They also great at magic, though they are exceptional at support or nature-based magic. The physical trait that helps identify an elf is their pointy ears.
Elves have heightened senses, their hearing is above that of many other races, and their vision is excellent. They have a natural understanding of magic and mana, though they also have a harder time explaining these subjects.
Due to their higher affinity to magic, they are also more susceptible to magical attacks and manipulation. They also lack physical strength, though they make up for it in mental strength.
The main elven race is often referred to as regular elves or city elves, though the latter is more used in a derogatory way. These elves don't necessarily live in cities, and don't even necessarily have to live in a community, as it's just as often that these elves just live in areas that don't have a steady climate, either requiring them to move around a lot or be able to adapt to the changing weather.
Many elves don't interact with other races, either out of distrust or because they don't think other races are worthy to stand next to them. Most are xenophobic, though of course there are exceptions.
Regular elves are often considered inferior by other elves, due to not being specialized or the belief that they aren't as in tune with nature as other elves. Because of this discrimination, regular elves are more likely to accept other races.
But even between subspecies there is discrimination, and in the case of high elves, there's even discrimination within their own kind.
